Regina Miller, MHC

Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported through life’s meaningful or challenging moments. In sessions, I would like to work with you to create a space that allows you to feel safe and accepting of your whole, authentic self. It is my hope that together we can reach your goals in ways grounded in empathy, empowerment, and kindness.

My approach to counseling utilizes a humanistic lens that centers on trusting you to know
yourself best, honoring your identity, and promoting your autonomy. I recognize that each
person is unique; therefore, I enjoy collaborating with my clients to best meet their needs.
My work includes sessions with children, adolescents, adults, and families who face a variety ofchallenges. Some examples of concerns that I have worked with include anxiety, LGBTQ related issues, a lost sense of self, school transitions, and aid in parenting strategies.

A special area of my work focuses on creating safe spaces for those who are exploring
faith-related concerns, including but not limited to difficult faith transitions, questioning their spirituality, or processing adverse religious experiences (traumas). I am open to exploring both positive and adverse experiences with spirituality/religion. It is my desire that those who feel these conversations do not fit in their communities can find a place to express themselves here.

Each time I meet with a client, it is an honor to share the therapeutic space with them. Whatever brings you to therapy, I’m here to hold it with care, respect, and empathy.
