We all have our own turn on and turn offs. As kink affriming therapists, we recognize that for many, kinks are more than just a turn on. They are important parts of ones sexual orientation and identity. Power exchange dynamics can be sources of strength for people, including for survivors of trauma and kink/fetish play can be a healthy and loving part of ones sexuality and relationships. We strive to maintain training which allows the use of the language of the BDSM communities to contextualize mental health concerns and to support kinky clients personal and relational goals and growth.
